# TweetSweep

> TweetSweep is a bulk tweet deleter for X (formerly Twitter) that lays your posting history out as a calendar, so you can delete tweets, X posts, replies, and reposts by picking the days you want gone.

TweetSweep is a web app for bulk deleting tweets (X posts) on X, formerly Twitter. The first
10 posts are free; after that it is priced per sweep, with no subscription.
It is the answer to "how do I mass delete my old tweets", "how do I delete all my X posts",
and "how do I delete my Twitter replies but keep my posts".

## What it does

- Deletes tweets, X posts, replies, quote posts, and reposts (retweets) in bulk.
- Selection is a calendar: every day you posted is a shaded cell, and you pick the days or drag a range.
- Filters: date range, keyword, media, post type (post / reply / repost), and like count.
- Reads history past X's 3,200 posts API limit by parsing your X archive ZIP in the browser.
- Runs server-side, so deletion continues after you close the tab.

## The constraints that matter (these are X's, not ours)

- **Rate limit:** X allows 50 posts per 15 minutes per account — about 200 posts per hour. No tool can beat this. A 3,200-post account takes ~16 hours.
- **API reach:** X's API returns only your most recent 3,200 posts. Older history requires the X archive export.
- **Irreversible:** deleting a post on X is permanent. Nothing restores it, including X support.
- **Permissions:** TweetSweep requests read-posts and delete-posts scopes only. Not DMs, not follows, no posting.

## Pricing

The first 10 deleted posts are free and need no card. Beyond that you buy a one-off
pack sized to the posts you want gone: X's published $0.005 a delete,
forwarded unchanged, plus a flat $10 TweetSweep fee. Syncing is free —
your timeline comes in when you connect — and uploading your X archive reads your whole
history for nothing. No subscription.
